unnamed

SUN AND SEA
Durational opera performance/ installation

by Rugilė Bardžiukaitė, Vaiva Grainytė, Lina Lapelytė

Sunday – the 26th of June 2016 open 2pm to 5pm
Palermo Galerie Olgastr.82, Stuttgart

Sun and Sea is a situation set on a beach.
Different type of bodies – forms, shapes and colours – embody a model of society put in a holiday mode. Anonymous chunks of flesh wearing informal uniforms are being observed from the Sun’s perspective.
Voices produced by lazy incognitos touch upon a wider picture – the biography of the Sun and the biography of Sea. A scenery of all kind of physiques lying side by side show up as a choir, singing in one breath with the overexposed light and the heaps of sand.
